Job Description

Coda is seeking a B2C Marketing Manager to design and execute marketing campaigns to drive incremental revenue, partnering with Sales, Design, and Digital Marketing teams. The role involves developing marketing strategies based on market understanding, creating Go-To-Market plans with competitive consumer value propositions, and executing marketing plans with attention to detail. This position specifically focuses on key gaming accounts, identifying opportunities to scale existing businesses and developing pitch decks to win new business. The manager will report to the Director, B2C Marketing and collaborate closely with the Sales and broader Marketing teams.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in gaming, entertainment, or digital consumer products.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian/Thai gaming landscape and player behavior.
  • Proven track record of executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing influencers and digital platforms in Indonesia.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Native-level fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Passion for gaming.
Good to have:
  • Prior experience in game publishing.
  • Understanding of Southeast Asia's cultural nuances.
  • Existing network of Indonesia gaming influencers and media partners.
  • Hands-on experience with community and streaming platforms.
  • Simple Chinese read/write is a strong plus.

The B2C Marketing team’s goal is to design and execute marketing campaigns to drive incremental revenue, partnering with the Sales, Design and Digital MKT team. The team is responsible for developing marketing strategies based on solid market understanding, designing Go-To-Market plans with competitive consumer value propositions and executing marketing plans with attention to details.

This role specifically focuses on key gaming accounts by identifying marketing opportunities to scale existing businesses and developing compelling pitch decks to win new business. You will report to the Director, B2C Marketing and will be a key strategic collaborator with the Sales function along with the broader Marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for publishers’ game titles aligned with regional publishing goals
  • Localize and activate integrated marketing campaigns including digital advertising, influencer partnerships, social media, events, and community activations.
  • Build relationships with KOLs, content creators, and gaming media.
  • Manage local influencer campaigns, negotiate partnerships, and oversee content performance.
  • Cultivate and manage local gaming communities on platforms such as Discord, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Drive player engagement through meaningful content and activities.
  • Gather and analyze market and player insights to inform campaign decisions and regional strategy.
  • Regularly report on key metrics (e.g., engagement, retention, user acquisition) and suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with digital marketing, creative, sales and product teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of campaigns.
  • Be the voice of the brand locally, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and identifying growth opportunities in the Indonesian gaming ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in gaming, entertainment, or digital consumer products.
  • Deep understanding of ID / TH gaming landscape and player behavior.
  • Proven track record of executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing influencers and digital platforms in Indonesia
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Native-level fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written) is required
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Simple Chinese read/write is a strong plus
  • Passion for gaming – ideally with familiarity across various game genres and communities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in game publishing, either at a developer, publisher, or agency.
  • Understanding of Southeast Asia’s cultural nuances and how they affect marketing strategies.
  • Existing network of Indonesia gaming influencers and media partners.
  • Hands-on experience with community platforms (Discord, Reddit) and streaming platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch).
