Job Description

The Business Development Manager, IP Licensing will be responsible for closing deals between top mobile game studios and IP holders such as Hasbro, Paramount, and more. Key responsibilities include building relationships with game studios, matching their games with IP partners, and managing end-to-end high-ticket sales. The role involves leveraging existing networks, negotiating, closing, and contracting deals. The candidate will also work closely with game studios to plan IP integration and contribute to team and company development. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.
Must have:
  • Proven success in high-ticket sales, including negotiation.
  • 5+ years of sales or licensing experience in gaming.
  • Network of game studios, whether mobile, PC, or console.
  • Passion and understanding of the mobile game market.
  • Understanding of game mechanics and monetization strategies.
Good to have:
  • Basic familiarity with brand licensing or IP projects.

Who We’re Looking For

We are hiring a Global IP Licensing Business Development Manager with gaming industry experience to close deals between top game studios and our expanding portfolio of IP holders.

What We Expect

You Will:

  • Close high-revenue global deals between top mobile game studios and iconic IP holders.
  • Build relationships with top-grossing game studios worldwide, partnering with them and deepening your understanding so you can match their games with our IP partners for revenue and brand-boosting crossover events.
  • Leverage your existing network to bring new studios to our portfolio of partners.
  • Manage end-to-end high-ticket sales processes, including negotiating, closing and contracting.
  • Work closely with the game studios to help them plan their IP integration.
  • Innovate and lead discussions that help shape your team and Yodo1 as a company.

Must Have:

  • Proven success in end-to-end high-ticket sales, including negotiating, closing, and contracting.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales, product or licensing role in the gaming industry.
  • Network of game studios, whether mobile, PC or console.
  • Passion for and deep understanding of the mobile game market.
  • Understanding of game mechanics, liveops, and monetization strategies.

Preferred:

  • Basic familiarity with brand licensing and/or experience in an IP-related project.
  • Scalable thinking: Yodo1 is growing fast; those who can think big and own projects advance quickly.
