Job Description

As a Business Development Executive at Smartcore, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients through direct outreach, lead generation campaigns, and building strong customer relationships. You will collaborate with the marketing team to boost revenue through online advertising, custom content, and editorial solutions. This role also involves creating proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining the Salesforce CRM. Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet client needs, overcome challenges, and achieve sales targets. This position requires consultative selling skills and the ability to report on customer pipelines and bookings.
Must have:

At Smartcore, we're leaders in Food & Nutrition Marketing and Media Services. Our digital ecosystem includes online directories, webinar series, and world-renowned trade shows. We have a database of over 400,000 food and nutrition professionals, an in-house content team, and digital marketing expertise.

We're growing our team and looking for a Business Development Executive to join us. You'll work alongside digital marketing specialists, content experts, and industry professionals.

What You'll Do

  • Find new clients through direct outreach and follow-ups
  • Work with our marketing team on lead generation campaigns
  • Boost revenue through online advertising, custom content, and editorial solutions
  • Build relationships with small and medium-sized customers
  • Use consultative selling to meet client needs and overcome challenges
  • Create compelling proposals and contracts
  • Negotiate effectively and handle customer objections
  • Keep our Salesforce CRM up-to-date with accurate pipeline and sales information
  • Report to your manager on customer pipelines and bookings
