Informa's Taylor & Francis is seeking a Rights and Permissions Revenue Administrator to support the collection and processing of subsidiary rights revenue from global Rights Sales teams. This role is crucial for accurate profit determination, correct author royalty application, and aids in forecast preparation. Key responsibilities include processing license revenue invoices, allocating payments, analyzing royalty statements, generating reports for outstanding payments and contracts, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining organized archives of correspondence and deals. This position directly contributes to revenue collection and ensures authors receive appropriate compensation while maintaining company profitability.

Job Description

We are seeking a Rights and Permissions Revenue Administrator to support our team with the collection and processing of subsidiary rights revenue generated by our global Rights Sales teams. This role ensures accurate profit determination, proper author royalty application, and helps with forecast preparation.

This role will be hired on a balanced/hybrid working basis, with the successful candidate attending our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire (OX14 4RN) at least three days per week. You must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Shared Service teams to process accurate license revenue invoices and allocate payments correctly
  • Analyse and process annual royalty statements to maintain accurate sales records in the Rights Management system
  • Generate monthly reports to follow up on outstanding royalty statements and unsigned contracts from customers and agents
  • Build working relationships with internal departments including Tax, Invoicing, Cash Operations, Rights Sales teams, and Finance, as well as external customers and agents
  • Maintain organized archives of all correspondence related to rights reversions, signed deals, invoices, royalty communications, and payments for future reference

This position directly contributes to our revenue collection process and ensures authors receive appropriate compensation while maintaining company profitability.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors
  • Highly numerate, ideally with previous basic financial administrative experience 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise and work effectively with internal partners and stakeholders
  • inquisitive mindset
  • Highly organised and methodical in your approach to administrative tasks 
  • Strong problem solving skills 
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and data

Additional Information

The successful candidate will need to be able to commit to 3 days per week worked from our head office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire (OX14 4RN), with the rest of your week worked remotely from home.
