Our leading beauty industry client is seeking a dynamic Creative Operations Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate well-versed in managing projects for an in-house creative team, with a deep understanding of the consumer marketing process, including print and digital, from initiation through final execution.

  • $55 - $60 hourly
  • NYC 
  • Hybrid - onsite Tues, Wed. Thurs
  • 2+ month contract 


As a Creative Operations Consultant, you will maintain and manage our client's creative department's consumer marketing projects, coordinating the day-to-day efforts on assigned projects. This role ensures that the department provides sound and responsible project management and planning, manages the scope, timelines, and budgets of assigned projects, and supports the execution of work in all assigned areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the marketing team on project initiation, scoping, and budgeting
  • Developing workable budgets, schedules, and realistic timetables
  • Providing regular project status updates
  • Liaising with appropriate teams/departments in the creation of project specifications and time plans
  • Determining project risk on an ongoing basis and escalating issues as needed
  • Monitoring out-of-scope requests and initiating additional estimates and approvals
  • Coordinating with cross-functional partners within creative, marketing, and sales on defining project guidelines, specifications, and timelines
  • Ensuring consumer marketing materials are tracked and delivered to their final destination
  • Overseeing each phase of the internal and external approval process
  • Managing assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines
  • Attending and contributing to Creative Operations meetings and Creative Department meetings
  • Working closely with outside vendors to ensure delivery to market and that all final artwork deadlines are met


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital or Broadcast production
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a producer or project manager in a creative agency, in-house or production environment
  • Experience in integrated marketing preferred
  • Proven project management ability
  • Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • Experience working with teams to develop and negotiate project scopes and budgets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues at various levels
  • Beauty industry experience preferred
