Job Description

As a Foundry Engineering Technical Fellow/Director, you will be a key driver of technology innovation, shaping the future of semiconductor processes and device architectures. You will provide technical leadership across the foundry engineering group, influencing foundry technology selection, manufacturing excellence, defining process simplification opportunities and partnering with Business Lines in next-generation product development and release. This role involves driving technical innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, analyzing emerging trends, mentoring engineers, working closely with customers, and developing transfer methodologies to ensure on-time enablement of capacity.
Must have:
  • Drive technical innovation for new semiconductor architectures.
  • Collaborate with process engineers and device experts.
  • Provide technical guidance on device modeling and materials selection.
  • Analyze emerging trends in semiconductor fabrication.
  • Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence.
  • Deep understanding of BCD, NVM architectures, and design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of reliability physics and failure analysis techniques.

Job Description

  • Drive technical innovation for new semiconductor architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, cost and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, device experts, circuit designers, and reliability engineers, to optimize manufacturing processes. 
  • Provide technical guidance on device modeling, materials selection, and advanced process innovation. 
  • Analyse emerging trends in semiconductor fabrication and develop technology roadmaps aligned with market needs. 
  • Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. 
  • Work closely with customers and business lines to understand performance requirements, yield optimization, and reliability challenges, ensuring solutions align with business goals
  • Develop transfer methodologies facilitating efficient technology transfers to ensure on time enablement of capacity for business need

Job Qualification

  • PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Materials Science, or a related field. 
  • 20+ years of experience in semiconductor technology development, process integration, and device innovation 
  • Deep understanding of **BCD, NVM architectures, and advanced logic design methodologies. 
  • Experience with process node scaling, lithography techniques, and advanced manufacturing methods. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. 
  • Proven ability to drive innovation in a fast-paced, competitive industry. 
  • Knowledge of reliability physics, yield enhancement strategies, and failure analysis techniques 
  • Familiarity with industry-leading EDA tools, TCAD modeling, and process simulation
