Job Description

As Industry Head, you'll lead a high-performing team focusing on performance marketing, data solutions, and client relationships within Google's travel sector. Responsibilities include driving substantial business growth for both the client and Google, strengthening C-level relationships, showcasing innovative product strategies, and designing tailored business plans. You'll leverage advanced technology and data-driven insights to help clients achieve their goals in the evolving travel landscape, working across Search, Hotel Ads, YouTube, and Display advertising. The role requires expertise in online media, communication, analysis, and relationship building. You'll work with one of Google's largest advertisers to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Must have:

  • Experience in travel industry sales management

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as the customer requires business fluency.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading and building dynamic teams with highly advanced marketing approaches.
  • Experience in sales management and industry, such as travel, trips, etc.
  • Experience in marketing, and experience working with or reporting to C-suites within the travel industry.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As the Industry Head of a key Travel account team, you will be partnering with one of Google’s largest advertisers in spotting growth opportunities across Search, Hotel Ads, Video YouTube, and DVA and Display. You will work with one of the advanced online advertisers to derive actionable insights from a wealth of data sources. You will engage internally and externally and lead the direction of the joint business challenges, our goal in travel and know how to onboard them on different growth opportunities. You will lead innovative and exciting product approaches and projects in digital advertising today.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing specialized team in performance, brand marketing, data and measurement solutions, focusing on talent development and management of client relationships.
  • Drive the team both on product adoption and substantial business growth for the customer and Google by enhanced channel engagement, prioritizing client satisfaction and partnership development.
  • Develop and strengthen CxO relationships at the customer, agencies, consultancies, and Google introducing creative and effective solutions for growing their business.
  • Showcase and coach the team in forward-looking product, sales, insights, and business strategies, through client interaction, leading high-impact programs, joint business plans, pitches, and initiating strategic conversations about marketing and beyond from A to C level.
  • Design and execute tailored business plans, account plans, and strategies, helping clients achieve their goals in the evolving travel landscape, leveraging advanced technology and data-driven insights.
