Lead 3D Environment Artist (realism)

In collaboration with your team, you will create Environment assets, share your knowledge, and work with your teammates to improve and optimize work processes. Full-time 5+ years experience Environment team Responsibilities: * Create game-ready environment assets: a complete cycle from blockout to optimization. * Analyze specifications, select references, and communicate with the client regarding visual solution options. * Monitor the quality and deadlines of task execution. * Hold regular meetings with the team. Requirements: * Experience in the gaming industry for over 5 years. * At least 1 year of experience in a Senior role. * Experience sculpting stones, wooden, and metal structures and their combinations. * Experience in modeling and texturing environment assets. * Experience working in ZBrush. * Willingness to share expertise with team members. * Understanding of the complete asset production cycle from blockout to optimization. * Understanding of game-ready model optimization principles. * Ability to accurately convey the properties and characteristics of different materials, including both organic and hard-surface materials. * High level of texturing skills — ability to create realistic materials. * Ability to work with vertex normals. * Desire to improve skills continuously. * Understanding the importance of feedback in working on large projects. * Portfolio showcasing examples of environment assets. * English proficiency is at an Intermediate level or higher. Desirable Skills: * Optimization of workflows when necessary. * Ability to sense proportions, analyze concepts, and understand complex combinations of shapes and textures.
