Job Description

The Lead Associate, Infrastructure Control and Audit role involves overseeing and driving accountability for alignment with Technology Resiliency and Cybersecurity standards. Key responsibilities include managing Technology Lifecycle, Threat and Vulnerability, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The role also involves data analysis, providing council and training, contributing to Technology Infrastructure initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standard methodologies. The candidate will be involved in internal and external audits. The ideal candidate should be an IT enthusiast with good analytical and communication skills.

Role Description:

The Infrastructure Services Delivery function provides infrastructure services that enable our businesses and business aligned technology teams to meet their objectives.

We are looking to hire an Infrastructure Control & Audit Senior Associate.

You will be involved in various projects and initiatives which spans various business units. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent are important traits required to be successful in this role.

The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious IT enthusiast with a knack for getting things done, efficiently prioritising, and breaking complex scenarios into smaller manageable pieces to provide outcomes among multiple scenarios, earn the trust of customers, and improve the efficiency of multi-functional organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversight, lead and drive accountability ensuring alignment to Technology Resiliency and Cybersecurity standards.
  • Technology Lifecycle management of EOL systems in conjunction with Asset & Lifecycle Management Team and other supporting teams.
  • Threat and Vulnerability management to ensure active vulnerabilities are at a low level.
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) management to ensure tooling coverage is at high levels, protecting the infrastructure against cyber threats.
  • Oversight and management of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) ensuring accuracy and completeness in line with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Engage and assist to ensure data completeness and accuracy in the Service Catalogue tool.
  • Oversight, and drive accountability to support IT Asset decommissioning efforts.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through sophisticated and accurate data analysis.
  • Perform assessments, gap analysis, provide council, issue recommendations and action paths on various technology driven themes to drive valuable outcomes.
  • Provide council and training to customers for data interpretation if required.
  • Champion data analysis on remit areas.
  • Contribute to Technology Infrastructure initiatives as the need arises to serve business goals.
  • Ensure that core processes follow regulatory requirements and standard methodologies, at governance, oversight, and operational levels.
  • Champion constant improvement and innovation, challenging existing internal processes where required to ensure continued control improvement.
  • Undertake continuous Control Self-Assessments ensuring controls are efficient and effective.
  • Provide counsel and advice to the various functions in view of enhancing the control structure.
  • Review policies & procedures to assess the inherent risks and determine controls sufficiency.
  • Oversight on any relevant Risk Registers detailing the determined risks and relevant controls ensuring risk is documented, reviewed, and communicated to divisional Risk Champions.
  • Engage, assist, contribute in Internal/External audits as required.

Key requirements, behaviours, skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT related field.
  • 4 or more years previous experience working with or within an IT Service Management Function
  • Solid Customer management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience within IT Service Operations and/or IT Service Management environments.
  • Ability to demonstrate a concern for accuracy and thoroughness so that sufficiently detailed information is logged correctly.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
  • Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data to reach conclusions and/or present insights and findings.
  • Ability to select between two or more alternatives proficiently by gathering information to reach the best outcome in the shortest amount of time
  • Ability to analyse, question and challenge the way things are done to optimise processes and deliver excellent outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Ability to establish order and structure in the work conducted and be systematic and efficient.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of products and services to meet customer needs, understand market segments and deliver excellent outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, quickly establishing rapport, building positive relationships and networks.
  • Ability to proactively identify possible risks, problems, and threats, taking ownership to ensure the risk or issue is reported, raised, and remediated.
