Job Description

ElevenLabs seeks a Content Strategy & Operations specialist to lead content operations for their Mobile team, focusing on scaling the ElevenReader self-publishing program. This role involves developing operational processes, ensuring quality, managing contractors, and liaising with publishers, authors, and news outlets to expand the ElevenReader app's content. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, using analytics to inform strategy and measure performance. Cross-functional collaboration with partnerships, growth, legal, and engineering teams is essential. Significant ownership and high autonomy are expected.
Must have:
  • 4+ years experience in operations, strategy, project leadership, or consulting
  • Excellent project management, process design, stakeholder management skills
  • Systems thinking, critical reasoning, analytical skills (SQL, Excel, data dashboards)
  • High ownership, autonomy, bias to action
  • Passion for audio AI and content accessibility
Good to have:
  • Understanding of content, media, or publishing industry
  • Strong editorial insights on books and media
  • Product sense
  • Experience with licensing/legal contracts

Job Details

This role is remote, so it can be executed globally. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London, New York , San Francisco or Warsaw.

About the role

The ElevenReader app allows publishers, news outlets, published authors, indie authors, and newsletter partners to go direct and connect with a global audience in rich, immersive audio format. With over thousands of pieces of content on our platform and growing rapidly, we’re already fortunate to have millions of mobile users and dozens of content partners worldwide.

We’re now seeking a Content Strategy & Operations specialist to lead all content operations for our Mobile team.

You’ll play a key role in developing and scaling the ElevenReader self-publishing program, ElevenReader Publishing—including operational processes, quality assurance, and contractor management. You will liaise with publishers, digital aggregators, authors, writers, and news outlets to develop a unique content offering delivered on the ElevenReader App. 

You will work cross-functionally with the partnerships, growth, legal, and engineering teams. As a data-driven team, you’ll develop data analyses to inform content strategy and measure the effectiveness of content performance across various audiences. You’ll have significant ownership and high autonomy.

What you bring

  • 4+ years experience doing operations, strategy, project leadership, or consulting

  • Excellent project management, process design, stakeholder management skills 

  • Systems thinking and critical reasoning - deeply understanding the customer base and determining how to position and message the product

  • Analytical skills - you can use SQL, Excel, and create dashboards in Sigma or Tableau to communicate the progress of your work 

  • High ownership, autonomy, bias to action

Bonus Experience:

  • Strong understanding of content, media, or publishing industry

  • Strong editorial insights on books and media

  • Strong Product sense

  • Experience with licensing / legal contracts
