Product Marketing Coordinator

The Brand Marketing team, a key group within the overall Marketing team at CIG, is responsible for building foundational plans for projects and promotions with emphasis on their associated marketing strategy, also, for working across the company and beyond, to execute globally through the mix of functional disciplines so that goals and strategies are met. 
 

We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented and talented product marketer with excellent written and spoken communication skills. The right candidate will have knowledge of product marketing campaigns for live service titles as well as strong knowledge of gaming and game industry trends. 
 

Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. What does a Product Marketing Coordinator at CIG do?  

• Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Product Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing data-driven marketing campaigns centred around new product launches and sales activations. 
• Establish campaign goals and KPIs, work with marketing stakeholders to execute tactics, and report back performance to leadership groups. 
• Work with the wider marketing team supporting marketing activations and campaigns where needed and be able reprioritize projects to suit business goals. 
• Partner with cross-functional teams and game development teams to solidify plans and flawlessly execute.  
• Clarify and manage data/communication flow from development teams to marketing teams. 
• Work with and manage third party vendors and external stakeholders. 
• Work with Creative Director to deliver best in class creative executions. Creative executions you’ll be involved in managing may include, but aren’t limited to: Web, Trailers, Social Media, Promotions, and Events.  
• Be a knowledge expert on our games and Star Citizen universe. Use this knowledge to identify positionings and value propositions with various target audiences. Manage how we reach those audiences and communicate this positioning creatively to them.

• Ability to craft marketing campaigns to introduce new sales products that resonate with our player base  
• Able to translate core game concepts into clear consumer propositions tailored to our target audiences. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Detail-oriented and driven to organize and re-prioritize tasks and decisions under regularly shifting requirements and deadlines.  
• Able to work with other teams and disciplines to complement and support each other's plans and objectives.  
• Extensive knowledge of video games and their respective communities.  
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance marketing and communication strategies to the next level.
