As a Product Owner in the Payments vertical, you will work with a cross-functional product team using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality payment solutions that enhance user experience, satisfaction, engagement, retention, and drive competitive advantage. This role involves driving a Scrum team, creating epics and stories, managing the backlog, planning releases, mitigating impediments, promoting agile values, and representing the voice of the customer.
Must have:
  • Drive one Scrum team as Product Owner.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile team.
  • Create requirements as epics and stories.
  • Manage backlog and iteration planning.
  • Lead product release plans.
  • Mitigate impediments.
  • Support team with agile/scrum best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to maintain product backlog.
  • Explore market for opportunities.
  • At least 2-3 years as Product Owner in tech.
  • Solid agile experience.
  • Define requirements for business challenges.
  • Communicate clearly across tech and business teams.
Good to have:
  • Good understanding of technology, programming languages, software architecture.
  • Experience working with design teams.
  • Understanding of UX fundamentals.
  • Wireframing skills.
  • Familiarity with payment systems and financial technologies.

The Role

As a Product Owner in the Payments vertical, you will work on a cross-functional product team, using agile methodologies and applying best practices to deliver high-quality products in line with the company's vision and business objectives. Our Payments vertical focuses on enhancing the payment experience of users by offering innovative and secure payment solutions, boosting satisfaction, engagement, retention, and driving competitive advantage.

As a Product Owner you will:

  • Drive one Scrum team as the Product Owner.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team throughout the project.
  • Create requirements in the forms of epics and stories.
  • Manage the backlog and iteration planning process.
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
  • Mitigate impediments impacting the release/sprint goals.
  • Support the team and organization by using agile/scrum best practices and promote agile values.
  • Partner with product management and business stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Explore the market to identify opportunities and represent the voice of the customer to the team.

What You'll Bring:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the future of our payment solutions. Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and software development teams, the Product Owner will lead the charge in delivering innovative solutions that elevate users' experience. More specifically, we are looking for a professional with:

  • At least 2-3 years of working experience as a Product Owner in a technological environment or on software products.
  • Solid agile experience.
  • Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams.
  • A good understanding of technology, programming languages, and software architecture is considered a plus.
  • Experience working with design teams, understanding UX fundamentals, and skills in wireframing are valued.
  • Familiarity with payment systems and financial technologies
