Job Description

As a QA Engineer (Operation Team) at Playtika, you'll manage in-game and out-of-game operations. This includes setting up promotions, controlling game features, implementing pricing, managing emails and web content, and collaborating with development teams on system improvements. You'll test features before launch, participate in cross-unit processes, and act as a focal point for Operations in feature development. The role involves working with R&D and back-office teams, potentially leading a specific operational domain, and improving internal processes. Experience with QA tools, SQL, and project management software is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the operation of activities inside the game through our own game’s Back-end system: setting up promotions, controlling game features, implementing pricing configurations, etc.
  • Manages the operation of activities outside the game: setting up ongoing and daily emails, web, including segmented protocols;
  • Works on ongoing improvements of operation systems with development teams;
  • Tests activities and features before going to production;
  • Strong collaboration within the studio, taking part in cross-unit processes;
  • Working together with R&D and back office development teams;
  • Acts as a focal point for Operations in feature development processes, as a part of task forces or working with product managers;
  • May develop to being in charge of a certain domain on the Operations team -Improving internal processes, product focal point, customer orientated projects, etc.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer or successfully finish QA courses;
  • Experience in using Excel;
  • Understanding Atlassian Jira, Wiki;
  • Familiarity with project management software (we're using Monday);
  • Basic knowledge of SQL;
  • Knowledge of TestRail;
  • Test documentation preparation (Test cases/checklists etc.);
  • Fluent English;
  • Experience in written and verbal communication in international teams;
  • Technological orientation;
  • Understanding of Mobile Game Development and QA Tools: Familiarity with the mobile game development process and experience using QA tools specific to mobile platforms, such as Charles Proxy, Logcat, and other relevant testing and debugging tools.
