We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive, robust, and modular AngularJS-based web applications. The role involves translating complex product requirements into engaging user experiences, implementing clean and performant code, building reusable components, and collaborating with product and backend teams. You will also contribute to UI/UX discussions, optimize existing code, and develop comprehensive tests. Must have:
  • Design, develop, and maintain AngularJS web applications
  • Translate product requirements into user experiences
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend code
  • Build reusable directives, services, and modules
  • Collaborate with product and backend teams
  • Contribute to UI/UX discussions
  • Review, refactor, and optimize AngularJS code
  • Develop comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E)
  • Conduct code reviews and browser compatibility testing
  • 5+ years of professional experience with AngularJS
  • Strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Deep understanding of AngularJS internals
  • Demonstrated ability to showcase previous UI work
  • Experience integrating frontend with backend via RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with consuming streaming data via APIs or websockets
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines
Good to have:
  • Experience with ReactJS
  • Experience migrating from AngularJS to modern frameworks
  • Familiarity with full-stack development (Node.js or Python)
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Experience with industrial, edge computing, or IIoT platforms
  • Working knowledge of containerized environments (Docker)

Senior Frontend Developer – Litmus Core Platforms 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, robust, and modular AngularJS-based web applications. 
  • Translate complex product requirements into engaging and intuitive user experiences. 
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code with a focus on high performance. 
  • Build reusable directives, services, and modules with an eye toward componentization and efficiency. 
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Backend Engineering teams to align UI functionality with underlying APIs and services. 
  • Contribute to UI/UX discussions, helping to shape the design and behavior of frontend components. 
  • Review, refactor, and optimize existing AngularJS code to improve performance and maintainability. 
  • Develop comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E) and conduct thorough code reviews and browser compatibility testing. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
  • 5+ years of professional experience building complex web applications with AngularJS in production environments. 
  • Strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end architecture. 
  • Deep understanding of AngularJS internals, including scope, the digest cycle, services, and directives. 
  • Demonstrated ability to showcase previous UI work (e.g., portfolio, screens, live apps, dashboards, or component libraries). 
  • Extensive experience integrating frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs. 
  • Familiarity with consuming and visualizing streaming data via APIs or websockets. 
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and mobile-first design principles. 
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows. 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with ReactJS and migrating from AngularJS to modern frameworks. 
  • Familiarity with full-stack development, especially Node.js or Python-based backends. 
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma or Adobe XD. 
  • Experience working on industrial, edge computing, or IIoT platforms. 
  • Working knowledge of containerized environments (Docker) 
  • Local to the San Jose and Santa Clara area

 

Salary range is $150-$175k annually. Compensation for this role is based on industry standards, individual experience, and qualifications. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.
