Security Engineer, DevSecOps 

• Hands-on experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or Ruby)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response
• Familiarity with security tools (vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, compliance automation)

Nice-to-have skills/experiences:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.)
• Security certifications (AWS Architect, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, SANS/GIAC)
• Experience in automating security processes and monitoring

• Technology, SaaS, FinTech, or Cloud Services
• Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare) is a plus

Years of experience desired:

2–4 years in security engineering, DevSecOps, or a related field

Educational background (if relevant):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field

Companies or profiles to prioritize or avoid:
Prioritize: Candidates from high-growth tech companies, cloud-native environments, or organizations with mature DevSecOps practices
Avoid: Candidates with purely theoretical or academic backgrounds and no hands-on DevSecOps experience
