We’re hiring for a Senior Software Engineer as part of Merkle in Sofia.
Senior Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Utilise AWS services to deploy and manage applications.
Work with MySQL databases to design and optimise queries.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and code reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
Proficiency in React and Node.js.
Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
Solid understanding of MySQL and database design principles.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
