Key responsibilities include monitoring domestic and international cricket leagues for timely app updates; announcing match schedules, team lists, and other key information; validating match data and results to ensure accurate contest outcomes; staying current on cricket trends, tournament structures, and match rules; collaborating with product, tech, and marketing teams; suggesting product or process improvements; proactively flagging operational risks; and providing operational insights to improve platform performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of cricket.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Sports Analyst to join our Operations Team at Sixer. If you're a cricket enthusiast with a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and a passion for sports data and real-time operations, we’d love to hear from you.This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and smooth execution of cricket-related workflows across our platform — from match announcements to contest result finalization. If you're excited to be part of a fast-paced, sports-first team that’s building something from scratch, this is the place for you.
Experience:2-3+ years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track domestic and international cricket leagues to ensure timely updates on the app.
- Announce match schedules, team lists, and other key updates with high accuracy.
- Validate match data and results in real-time and post-match to ensure accurate contest outcomes.
- Stay current on cricket trends, tournament structures, team/player stats, and match rules.
- Work closely with product, tech, and marketing teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Maintain a consistent feedback loop to suggest product or process improvements based on real-time observations.
- Proactively flag operational risks or discrepancies in data or app experience during live matches.
- Provide operational insights that contribute to improving overall platform performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of cricket formats, teams, tournaments, and player stats.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sports-related or operations-heavy role.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends during live matches.
- Familiarity with tools like MS Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required; Hindi is a bonus).
- Self-starter with a collaborative approach and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
