Responsibilities
- Contribute and Collaborate to Drive Product Vision for Growth: Actively contribute to developing and evolving the product vision for the VSaaS offering, collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Help inspire innovation to drive exponential customer and revenue growth.
- Strategic Prioritization with Limited Resources: Make data-informed product bets and ruthlessly prioritize initiatives. Focus the small engineering team on high-impact features or experiments that maximize ROI and competitive advantage despite constrained resources.
- Deep Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, end-users, and partners to uncover critical pain points and high-value opportunities. Use these insights to shape product features that solve real problems and deliver significant value.
- Translate Ambiguity into Actionable Plans: Take ambiguous, high-level ideas and convert them into precise product requirements, prototypes, or MVPs. Provide clarity and direction so the team can rapidly move from concept to shippable solutions.
- Technical Leadership in Product Development: Leverage strong technical acumen to understand architecture trade-offs and feasibility. Work closely with engineers to make informed decisions, ensuring the product is technically sound, scalable, and secure.
- Commercial Insight & Market Alignment: Maintain keen commercial acumen—analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and business model implications. Ensure product decisions consider revenue potential and market fit, aligning the VSaaS offering with customer demand and the broader product portfolio strategy.
- Agile Delivery & Iteration: Champion an agile mindset to release improvements and new features iteratively. Adapt quickly based on user feedback and data, continuously refining the product to drive growth and adoption.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, QA, sales, and marketing to drive end-to-end product execution. Coordinate across teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and shared alignment on product goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define clear success metrics (e.g., user adoption, retention, revenue) and rigorously track product performance. Use data and analytics to inform priorities, validate product bets, and demonstrate impact on growth objectives.
- Foster Innovation & Manage Risk: Champion a culture of innovation by proposing bold ideas and experimental features. Take calculated risks in product strategy, balancing visionary bets with risk mitigation plans to achieve breakthrough results without compromising the user experience.
- Ownership and Autonomy: Operate as the mini-CEO of the product, taking full ownership of outcomes. Drive initiatives proactively with minimal supervision, remove roadblocks, and make decisive calls to keep the product moving forward toward its goals.
