Ajmera Infotech seeks a detail-oriented Technical Writer with 5+ years' experience to create and maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture and software solutions. Responsibilities include designing UML and other diagrams, developing database diagrams, explaining complex concepts clearly, collaborating with engineering teams, writing detailed guides using Markdown and GitHub Pages, and ensuring documentation adheres to standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of cloud architecture, proficiency in diagramming software, and excellent communication skills.
Must have:
- 5+ years Technical Writing experience
- Cloud architecture understanding
- UML, sequence, database diagramming proficiency
- Markdown & GitHub knowledge
- Excellent written/verbal communication
Good to have:
- Software engineering background
- Experience with cloud-based systems
- Visio/Lucidchart experience

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and other technical teams to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation. Your work will help both technical and non-technical stakeholders understand complex cloud-based solutions and software architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture and software solutions.
- Design and document UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, architecture block diagrams, and software architectural diagrams.
- Develop and maintain database diagrams, including data tables and relationships.
- Explain concepts such as cloud architecture, authentication, and authorization in a user-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate complex software processes into understandable content.
- Write detailed guides and documentation using tools like Markdown and publish them using platforms like GitHub Pages.
- Ensure documentation adheres to standards, is version-controlled, and is easily accessible.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and related concepts.
- Proficiency in creating UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, and database diagrams.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms in software systems.
- Knowledge of Markdown and version control systems such as GitHub.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon.
- Ability to create visually appealing and accurate diagrams to support written documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Background in software engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and data-driven applications.
- Experience with tools like Visio, Lucid chart, or other diagramming software.
- Strong Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
