Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. The Role
An exciting position has arisen for a Conference Producer to join the Informa Markets - Energy team to help produce and deliver a series of events covering the latest trends in the Energy and Utilities industry featuring the top global industry thought leaders.
We offer flexible working, and remote work will be considered for this role.
The Conference Producer will be part of an international team that puts on multiple large-scale events annually, from 3000 person conferences to tradeshows for 30,000 attendees. Exciting travel opportunities include trips to different countries where the Producer will be meeting and working with lively and engaged professionals in a resilient and exciting industry.
The Conference Producer will research, write and deliver high quality and innovative conference agendas, identifying and recruiting appropriate speakers at the same time as ensuring the marketability and commercial viability of each conference they are responsible for. Applicants must have strong project management skills and at least 12 months experience in a B2B commercial environment. The role will help support growth and revenue goals and work directly with senior level leadership.
We are looking for a Conference Producer with strong commercial acumen who can help to take the portfolio to the next level and has excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires someone with an enthusiasm to succeed, brilliant research and analytical skills and an interest and ability to travel internationally to attend events.
