This role requires a seasoned Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across content production, licensing, distribution, marketing, and digital operations at Lionsgate. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and a passion for media and entertainment. Responsibilities include establishing a Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE), defining governance, driving best practices, and leading complex Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Media Cloud). The Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, design integrations with other enterprise platforms, guide development teams, manage the Salesforce data model, and stay current on Salesforce releases.
Must have:
  • 8+ years Salesforce development/architecture experience
  • Large-scale Salesforce solution design & implementation
  • Salesforce CoE building & scaling experience
  • Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flow, SOQL, integration expertise
  • Enterprise system integration & API experience
  • Salesforce Data Architecture & Security Model expertise

Summary of Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that power our business across content production, licensing, distribution, marketing, and digital operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and a passion for media and entertainment.

 

This role will also be responsible for building and establishing a Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) — defining governance, driving adoption of best practices, and enabling scalable, sustainable innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce architecture, integrations, and best practices within the Lions Gate ecosystem.
  • Design scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and technical strategy.
  • Lead architecture for complex Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Media Cloud.
  • Build and establish the Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) to support enterprise-wide governance, development standards, and reusable components.
  • Define and enforce architectural and coding best practices, DevOps standards, release management, and environment strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across production, marketing, legal, and distribution to understand requirements and translate them into secure and efficient Salesforce solutions.
  • Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms (ERP, DAM, Rights Management, Digital Supply Chain, etc.) using APIs, middleware (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft), and custom components.
  • Guide development teams and third-party vendors on technical implementation, code standards, and platform governance.
  • Own and maintain the Salesforce data model and metadata, ensuring clean architecture, data quality, and performance.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and emerging trends, continuously advising on platform evolution and innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across enterprise systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development/architecture, with at least 3 years as a Salesforce Architect.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale Salesforce solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience building and scaling a Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), including setting up governance models, development frameworks, and enablement strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), Flow, SOQL, and integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration, including REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, and middleware platforms (preferably Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
  • Experience working with Salesforce AppExchange products and App Cloud development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Data Architecture and Security Model.
  • Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry or a strong understanding of content lifecycle and IP management is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect are preferred.
