Job Summary

As an Engine Tools Programmer, you will be instrumental in building Bohemia's new game engine, serving as the foundation for future games. Your primary responsibility will be to develop tools for artists, designers, animators, sound designers, and other developers. You will also be involved in crafting technologies and tools for creating large-scale game environments and tools for the community to create user mods. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge engine and shape the future of Bohemia's game development.

Must Have

Strong C++ knowledge
Solid OO design understanding
Teamwork and communication skills
Good spoken and written English
Experience with a GUI framework (Qt, wxWidgets, GTK+)

Good to Have

Passion for video games
Experience with game development
UI/UX mindset
User experience with other game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity)

Job Description

Your main task will be to contribute to research and development of our new , which will serve as the technical backbone of our future games. You’ll develop new tools for our artists, designers, animators, sound designers and other developers that work on our games. You’ll also be working on the technologies and tools used for creating large-scale game environments, and on tools that our community will use for creating their own user mods.

We require

Routine C++ knowledge
Strong OO design understanding
Teamwork and communication skills
Good spoken and written English
