Job Description

As an Instructor Pilot at CAE, your role involves training pilots, cultivating their confidence and skills. You will lead simulator sessions and pre-flight briefings, inspiring trust and mastery. You'll have the opportunity to keep your own skills sharp while elevating others. You will ensure each lesson meets regulatory standards and CAE’s commitment to excellence, and grow as an educator. The role involves teaching the next generation, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the aviation industry. You will be instructing for the Bombardier Business Jet Platform at the Montreal Training Centre. Responsibilities include conducting training sessions, and ensuring pilots are fully prepared.
Must have:
  • Hold an unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL and FAA ATP.
  • Minimum of 1500 hours of multi crew experience.
  • Strong communication skills to teach others.
  • Basic computer proficiency for programs.
Good to have:
  • Experience flying business aircraft.
  • Bilingual in English/French.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Hold an unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL and must be able to obtain FAA ATP (requires Category 1 medical for initial issuance)

  • Must have minimum of 1500 hours of multi crew experience

  • A passion for teaching others through strong communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs 

  • Experience flying business aircraft is a plus

  • Bilingual preferred (English/French)

  • Must be authorized to live/work in Canada
