IT Support Technician

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire an IT Support Technician for a Medical Device Company in Goleta, CA.

This role will act as first point of contact for internal technical support. They will provide deskside and phone support for IT incidents and service requests, and gather full information to resolve issues at first contact or escalates to appropriate support teams.
 

Requirements:

• 1–3 years in an IT support role
• 1–3 years call center experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and services
• Familiarity with macOS and Linux (bonus)
• Experience using remote desktop and support tools
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Proficient with Active Directory (user accounts, groups, permissions)
