Job Description

The Digital Sales Representative, US Army, Public Sector role involves developing and executing territory business plans, managing multiple sales opportunities, and serving as the primary customer contact. Responsibilities include assisting customers in identifying use cases for Google Cloud, articulating key differentiators, generating prospecting campaigns, and driving increased adoption of Google products. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in cloud or software sales, with a strong understanding of platform and infrastructure-as-a-service. This role requires managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals within the public sector. The position is based in Washington D.C. or Reston, VA.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with cloud or software sales.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in enterprise technology or data center sales.
  • Experience prospecting into greenfield accounts.
  • Experience in CRM systems integration.
  • Experience promoting in the Public Sector.
  • Ability to communicate about platform and infrastructure-as-a-service, and perform technical qualification.
  • Ability to manage the entire business process from prospecting through close.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$141,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory business plan in partnership with field sales and build account plans across the public sector, resulting in a business growth pipeline and achieving quarterly business goals.
  • Manage multiple opportunities, work with cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary customer contact for all business/adoption-related activities, including agreement discussion.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud deployment, articulate key differentiators, and typical customer journeys.
  • Generate prospecting campaigns at scale.
  • Drive initiatives for increased adoption, use, and growth of Google.
