Hello, hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations. You have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Own the district sales process – Lead all aspects of the sales cycle for your prospect accounts, including research, outreach, technical discovery, negotiation, contracting, and handoff to Customer Success Managers.
  • Build relationships with key district stakeholders – Engage and nurture relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and champions to navigate procurement and review processes, and ensure a smooth transition to post-sale success.
  • Communicate Canva’s value – Clearly and compellingly articulate the transformative impact of Canva as a classroom tool, and advocate for district-wide adoption.
  • Be an ambassador for Canva for Education – Represent Canva at events and online as a thought leader in K–12 edtech, growing your presence to help amplify our mission and impact in education.
  • Leverage data to guide strategy – Analyze usage patterns and sales data to inform your approach and identify emerging trends to share with internal teams including Sales, Success, Product, and Marketing.
  • Deliver value to customers and Canva – Operate a healthy, strategic pipeline that supports educational transformation and outcomes aligned to agreed goals with district partners.

You're probably a match if

  • You have experience with the U.S. district education market – You understand classroom technology and can effectively engage with district leaders on how Canva enhances student learning through design and collaboration.
  • You bring proven edtech sales or purchasing expertise – Based on experience in sales or as a key part of the purchasing cycle with a school district, you’re confident navigating the K–12 SaaS sales process. You embrace the challenge, persistence, and risk-taking it requires.
  • You collaborate with ease – You thrive when working closely with your immediate team and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals.
  • You understand how to implement new technologies – You have a strong grasp of how schools and districts adopt new tools and what it takes to ensure successful district-wide rollouts.
  • You’re an effective communicator – You simplify complex ideas, communicate with clarity, and confidently present compelling narratives to customers and internal teams.
  • You have strong business planning skills – You can move seamlessly from strategic planning to execution, consistently delivering high-impact results.
  • You bring thought leadership to your work – You understand how to use social media and other platforms to educate and influence, with a proven ability to drive awareness and engagement.
  • You have a growth mindset – You’re always looking to learn, grow, and level up your skills—while having fun along the way!
