The Content Sales Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing marketing strategies, campaigns, and brand building for Disney content in Australia and New Zealand. This role involves collaborating with internal teams (Content Sales and Integrated Marketing) and external partners (media, creative, and PR agencies) to execute traditional and digital marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth, enhancing brand awareness, supporting franchise development, managing marketing assets (video, web, print), providing strategic support to the team (presentations, content rollout plans, events), and working with digital accounts to ensure seamless marketing delivery across platforms. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of marketing experience in a media business environment, strong analytical and project management skills, and exceptional relationship-building abilities.

The Content Sales Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and management of marketing strategies, campaigns and brand building for key content in Australia and New Zealand. This includes, but is not limited to client service for FTA, STV, streaming and digital partners. The primary focus of this role is the development of marketing initiatives to support the distribution and growth of The Walt Disney Company brands across all media.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Partner with the Content Sales and Integrated Marketing teams to plan and execute both traditional and digital marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth, enhance brand awareness, and support franchise development with Disney’s external client.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Digital Accounts to support digital partnerships and ensure the seamless delivery of marketing requirements across platforms.

  • Work with media, creative, and PR agencies to design and implement effective media strategies, ensuring campaigns are optimized, tracked, and analyzed for maximum impact and ROI.

  • Take the lead on sourcing and managing marketing assets, including video, web, and print materials, for key CSD titles, while collaborating with International Marketing and Product teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all touchpoints.

  • Provide strategic support to the CSD team in the execution of internal and external marketing initiatives by developing presentations, creating content rollout plans, organizing events, and managing key marketing communications.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing or commercial experience, with exposure to a media business environment – with a passion for content!

  • Strong financial and analytic skills with specific experience managing budgets

  • Excellent project management skills with experience working in a very fast paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining acute attention to detail

  • Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills

  • Creative thinker and problem solver

  • Must be able to collaborate with and influence peers to overcome obstacles
