Job Description

As a Media Activation Specialist II, you will own the search advertising strategy for clients across the entire business cycle. You will lead search quality with the Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams through pitching and activating products to lead performance. You will act as an advisor and consultant across functions, Global teams, and with client advocates within Google.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions
  • 1 year of experience working in customer relationship development
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Excellent project management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting or media specific industry
  • Ability to take ownership of accounts, deliverables, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to process large data sets and identify patterns of significance

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • 1 year of experience working in customer relationship development, account management, media consulting, or a similar role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting or media specific industry.
  • Ability to take ownership of accounts, deliverables, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple solutions supported by internal teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to process large data sets and identify patterns of significance.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools to offer solutions for our clients business issues.
  • Dive the client’s business objectives and work with them to lead the conversation on a strategy to drive performance and the right investment.
  • Work with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short- and long-term account growth.
  • Drive conversations on measurement and attribution (along with the Measurement and Attribution specialists) of Search or Video media.
  • Manage a book of business, working across the business cycle with in-country teams (e.g.,plan, pitch, implement, and optimize).
