About the role
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our development team and help bring our PC first multiplayer FPS to the world. You won’t just be promoting the game- you’ll be shaping how it’s discovered, talked about, and played by the community.
Working directly within the dev studio, you’ll drive strategy and execution across public beta campaigns, creator activations, and community engagement - with the goal of building hype and trust before launch and sustaining it beyond.

idea of working side-by-side with devs and designers, this is your role.
What you’ll be doing
- Own Strategy and Community Lead the charge: on positioning, market strategy, and community activation backed by insights from telemetry and player research.
- Lead Pre-Launch and Playtest Marketing: Shape and own the marketing campaign for the playtest program. Plan and execute player recruitment campaigns and major announcement beats.
- Be the Community Voice at the Table: Work closely with devs and your Community Manager to shape messaging, tone and feature positioning based on player feedback and sentiment. Help translate community needs into actionable dev insights.
- Influencer and Creator Campaigns: Identify and activate FPS creators to participate in playtesting, early gameplay, and long-term engagement. Coordinate creator campaigns and collaboration opportunities.
- Content and Hype Campaigns: Partner with the internal team on trailers, dev diaries, AMAs, patch notes, and player spotlights, with a focus on authenticity and community storytelling.
- Live with the PC Community: Operate where players are, identifying the right channels to make the best impact. Build organic engagement through platform-specific activations and content. Put your Steam savvy to work boosting store visibility through the algorithm
- Launch-Ready Prep: Build momentum into launch with wishlisting campaigns, content beats, influencer momentum, and community rallying moments.
- Track and Learn: Measure performance across creator engagement, wishlish growth, social buzz and player sentiment. Share learnings constantly to improve future campaigns
What We'd Like to See
- Experience in product marketing, community marketing or influencer strategy in multiplayer games, preferably first person shooters.
- Experience working in, or alongside a game development studio - you know how to collaborate with devs and translate feautires into player-facing benefits.
- Strong familiarity with PC and FPS communities, from Steam wishlists to Twitch drops to what's trending on Reddit.
- Experience planning and executing early betas, early access campaigns or game launches.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
- A self-starter mentality - comfortable in a fast-moving, flexible and creative environment.
Bonus Points: - You've been part of a successful PC multiplayer launch, ideally in the shooter or competitive space.
- You maintain relationships with FPS creators, esports orgs, or community leaders.
- You've helped build or support a game from pre-release through live service.
