Job Description

The Regional Landing Lead role within Google Cloud's Change and Landing team focuses on driving transitions and ensuring adoption of new initiatives across the global sales organization. This key player operationalizes critical changes, working with the central change team and regional stakeholders. Responsibilities include understanding the impact of planned changes, tailoring communication and training programs, ensuring field sellers utilize new tools and strategies, collaborating with other Regional Change Landing leads, measuring landing and adoption success, and recommending change reinforcement measures. The role requires strong relationship building with regional sales leaders, COO's, enablement leads, and communication leaders to facilitate change adoption and regional alignment. Developing and executing regional communication strategies and partnering with the Enablement team to support regional teams in adopting new initiatives are also crucial.
Must have:
  • 7+ years program/project management experience
  • Sales organization or sales-related tech experience
  • Develop & execute regional adoption strategies
  • Cultivate relationships with regional sales leaders
  • Develop & execute regional communication strategies
Good to have:
  • Strategy & Operations experience supporting sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working within a sales organization or with sales-related technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Strategy and Operations supporting a business sales organization.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

About the job

The Regional Landing Lead role sits within the Change and Landing team, a dynamic group focused on driving transitions and ensuring adoption of new initiatives across Google Cloud's global sales organization. As a Regional Change Landing Lead, you will be a key player in operationalizing critical changes, working with both the central change team and regional stakeholders. You will be responsible for understanding the impact of planned changes in the region that you support, tailoring communication and training programs, and ensuring that field sellers are equipped to utilize new tools, processes, and strategies. You will be joining a collaborative team dedicated to enabling Google Cloud's continued growth and success.

You will be collaborating with other Regional Change Landing leads to share best practices and develop a hub and spoke networked engagement model to ensure regional stakeholders have early visibility into the pipeline of Go-To-Market (GTM) priority launches.

You will measure landing and adoption success within your region and recommend change reinforcement measures to best support the landing of key initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure adoption of global initiatives within your region, providing support and ensuring impact.
  • Cultivate relationships with regional sales leaders, regional Chief Operating Officers, regional enablement leads, chiefs of staff and regional communications leaders serving as a trusted advisor to facilitate change adoption and regional alignment.
  • Develop and execute regional communication strategies, leveraging local channels and collaborating with regional teams to ensure initiative landing.
  • Utilize change management expertise and collaborate with the Global Change Management team to address potential regional barriers to adoption.
  • Partner with the Enablement team to ensure change-related training effectively supports regional teams in adopting new initiatives.
