The Regional Marketing Specialist – Automation is a key member of the AMS Regional Marketing team, responsible for planning, executing, tracking, and optimizing email automation and digital marketing campaigns across the Americas region. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including sales, global and regional marketing teams, and the Lead Qualification Team. Responsibilities include managing KPI dashboards, ensuring data privacy compliance, contributing to marketing initiatives, developing email flows and landing pages, building targeted email lists, regionalizing content, and working with product marketing and content teams to align campaigns with product launches and brand messaging. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and data privacy regulations.

The Regional Marketing Specialist—Automation is a key member of the AMS Regional Marketing team. The role works closely with the regional marketing team and global counterparts to deliver email automation and digital marketing across the region, optimizing our efforts across various marketing tactics to drive improved performance. The role involves working with a broad range of stakeholders in the organization and requires a structured, curious, and proactive team member. 

The Regional Marketing Specialist – Automation will work out of our US office in beautiful Portland, OR. The position will report to our Head of Regional Marketing, Americas. 

The Team

The Americas Regional Marketing team consists of highly passionate and experienced Regional Marketing Managers and Specialists based across the Americas region, which covers the US, Canada, and LATAM. While everyone is accountable for their areas, we collaborate extensively and enjoy sharing and helping each other succeed.

Key roles & responsibilities

Planning, execution, tracking, and optimization

  • Understands the overall global approach to automation and digital marketing, execution, and tracking, and is responsible for execution within the AMS region. 
  • Owns and maintains the regional KPI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and trend analysis to continuously optimize marketing-attributed performance as part of the pipeline.  
  • Manages a broad stakeholder landscape, collaborating closely with the AMS Lead Qualification Team, Sales, and Global and Regional Marketing teams, including automation colleagues across the regional marketing teams. 
  • Ensure all marketing campaigns comply with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA).
  • Contribute to the execution of priority marketing initiatives and activities, including digital and physical events.  

Marketing Automation 

  • Executes or oversees the execution of all marketing automation campaigns for the region (or within specific markets) for events, webinars, and other promotional activations.
  • Develops and implements e-mail flows, landing pages, and forms and ensures accurate data collection, storage, and integration across marketing automation, dedicated event handling platforms, and CRM platforms.
  • Work closely with the global automation team and local sales teams to build audiences/segment email lists based on relevant demographics and other criteria relevant to target specific audiences effectively. 

Regionalized content

  • Supports development of compelling content for regional campaigns, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the regional audience. Works with product marketing and content teams to ensure that campaigns are aligned with product launches, promotions, and overall brand messaging. 
  • Coordinates and delivers regionalized content to global content and partner marketing teams to push content through core communication channels, e.g., end-customer (customers & prospects) newsletter and partner portal and partner newsletter. 

Experience & attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field of study
  • A team player with an intrinsic motive to help colleagues and go the extra mile to deliver on commitments
  • Experience with planning, execution, evaluation, and optimization of events – digitally and physically. 
  • Data and digital mindset and interest 
  • Detailed understanding of the sales organization’s needs 
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience in marketing tools, including automation 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects and priorities in parallel, works efficiently to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders. 
  • Experience in IT/ Software and a partner business model preferred
  • Experienced working across cultures and geographies

The annual salary for this position ranges from $61,780 to $81,249, with most candidates falling in the $65,828 to $70,208 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
