The Regional Sales Manager, Video, reports to Avigilon’s Regional Sales Director. This role serves as the primary contact for VS&A solutions selling initiatives with Avigilon Channel Partners in the assigned territory. Responsibilities include proactively managing partner relationships, deploying sales actions and strategies to foster business growth, educating partners on Avigilon solutions, assisting with orders, ensuring staff training, and supporting overall sales and access control activities. The manager will also focus on finding new markets, tracking sales, and collaborating with internal teams.
Must have:
  • Develop relationships with Avigilon Partners, educate them on solutions, track account activity.
  • Assist Avigilon Channel Partners process orders and returns.
  • Ensure Partner staff are trained to deploy Avigilon’s solutions successfully.
  • Support Motorola’s video sales & access control activities in assigned territory.
  • Find and develop new markets, determine end-user needs through partners, engage Commercial Sales Executives.
  • Support territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for Partners.
  • Track sales activities using lead and project tracking software databases.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Sales Executives, Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering.

Job Details

Reporting to Avigilon’s Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager, Video acts as a primary contact for all VS&A solutions selling initiatives with Avigilon Channel Partners in the assigned territory, proactively manages their relationships and deploys sales actions and strategies in order to grow business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with Avigilon Partners, educate the Partners on Avigilon solutions, understand and articulate how Avigilon solutions help them sell more and provide more value to their customers, track and report on account activity
  • Assist Avigilon Channel Partners process orders and returns
  • Work with Avigilon Channel Partners to ensure that their staff have taken the appropriate training to deploy Avigilon’s solutions successfully
  • Support Motorola’s video sales & access control activities in the assigned territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for products and services
  • Finding and developing new markets and determining the net need with end-users through channel partners and engage the Commercial Sales Executives to close the opportunities
  • Support the territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned Avigilon Channel Partners in the territory
  • Track sales activities using lead and project tracking software databases
  • Collaborate with colleagues including Commercial Sales Executives, Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering

Additional Skills

  • 5+ years of video security solutions sales experience.
  • 3+ years of customer-interfacing experience.
  • Physical security solutions experience.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions.
  • Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
  • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Functional understanding of Microsoft & Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets.
  • Exceptional presentation skills required.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level.
  • Ability to travel weekly to territory (~50% of territory travel).
  • Having an established client base in the assigned territory is a plus

Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years of Technical Sales experience
