About the role
As the Regulatory Lead Benelux, you'll not only drive strategic product evaluations and ensure compliance for a diverse and renowned portfolio, but you'll also serve as a trusted collaborator with key local regulators to bring cutting-edge solutions to market efficiently and effectively.
With a portfolio spanning medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, and foods, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape market entries with optimal and compliant claims, advertising, and promotional strategies that align seamlessly with commercial objectives. Your expertise will empower products to thrive in the competitive landscape, backed by strong scientific rigor and industry standards.
As a leader, you'll guide and inspire a team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration while actively contributing to the strategic vision of the Benelux Leadership Team. This opportunity will report into R&D Lead for Northern Europe and can be based in (Zaventem) Belgium or (Amersfoort) The Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Enable the launch and maintenance of new products in the market, ensuring compliance with regulations while actively seeking innovative and expedited pathways to market.
Translate the operational plan into clear and actionable deliverables for the team.
Communicate with key stakeholders to highlight regulatory issues, develop mitigation plans, and ensure delivery of science that supports business objectives.
Set engaging and clear goals to create a high-performing team and continuously enhance team performance. You will lead a team of 7 experienced Regulatory professionals.
Recruit, retain, and develop top talent to strengthen the organization's capabilities.
Build strong relationships with trade associations and regulatory authorities to influence the market environment in alignment with strategic goals.
Ensure compliance with Haleon Healthcare standards, implement Level 1 and Level 2 plans, and establish key processes and effective workflows.
Develop the strongest possible claims, advertising strategies, and promotional materials while maintaining compliance and maximizing impact.
Proactively manages the impact of regulatory changes on the business.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor/Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
Extensive knowledge of national procedures and requirements and OTC, medicines.
Fluent in English, and French or Dutch.
Ideally certified by the Belgian Health Authority as “Responsible Pharmacist for Information and Publicity” if you are based in Belgium.
