A Day in the Life of a Senior Analyst…
Insurance and Claims: Obtain and organize company data required for insurance renewals, certificates of financial responsibility, commercial claims submissions, and internal and external ad hoc requests. Ensure internal databases maintain current policy information. Pay policy invoices in a timely manner. Coordinate strategy and market meetings. Preserve and grow existing broker and insurer relationships and further develop a network of external contacts in the insurance industry.
Contract Review: Review Port Adventure Operators and third-party vendors’ certificates of insurance and contracts to ensure insurance coverage and insurance and indemnity language are acceptable and consistent with Corporate Insurance guidelines.
Bonds: Research and provide solutions for bond calls under three main categories: Import/Export, Customs and Boarder Protection, and Civil Aviation Authority/Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing (EU/UK).
Certificates of Insurance: Review requests from internal and external partners to provide evidence of The Walt Disney Company insurance coverage and review incoming certificates of insurance. Determine The Walt Disney Company’s contractual obligations and provide evidence if required. Identify high risk requests (e.g. animals, railroad, watercraft, aircraft, certain indemnity obligations, etc.) and determine if more information is necessary to assess the risk. Gather information and work with internal resources (management, safety, legal, etc.) to determine the appropriate actions or recommendations.
This role has multiple areas of responsibility and a significant business operation and a number of business unit clients to manage and support. Once trained, the employee must prioritize tasks, handle inquiries from business units promptly and execute the appropriate response with minimal direction. While advice and input from their supervisor is available, the employee is expected to use their experience and judgment to assess the issues and risks and provide guidance to the business units.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
3+ years or more of experience in insurance and risk management
Demonstrated experience partnering with technical teams
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Proven relationship and partnering skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
