As a Senior Account Executive for the APAC Sales team in India, you will be responsible for selling Vimeo's Enterprise video platform to major organizations. This quota-carrying role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closing deals using a value-oriented sales methodology. Your duties include exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, and maintaining forecast accuracy. You will identify new growth opportunities in the Indian market, communicate Vimeo's value proposition, handle objections, and position solutions against competitors. Responsibilities also include crafting and negotiating enterprise proposals and contracts, maintaining CRM data in Salesforce, actively managing leads, generating pipelines, running campaigns, and supporting RFI/RFP processes.
Must have:
  • 5+ years selling enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas
  • Hunter mentality with experience selling in India
  • Knowledge of online video, livestreaming, OTT
  • Experience with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC)
  • Ability to navigate organizations and identify decision-makers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated by results

Job Details

Sr. Account Executive, India

As a Senior Account Executive within the APAC Sales team, you will be responsible for selling Vimeo’s Enterprise video platform into some of the largest organisations in the India region. In this direct sales quota-carrying role, you will drive opportunities through the entire sales cycle from pipeline generation to closure, employing a value-oriented sales methodology.

The Senior Account Executive is accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management and forecast accuracy. A successful Senior Account Executive is eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, and comfortable with some ambiguity.

What you'll do:

  • Exceed sales quota targets by selling Vimeo’s OTT and enterprise offerings: https://ott.vimeo.com/, https://vimeo.com/enterprise
  • Identify new growth opportunities within the Indian market
  • Convey Vimeo’s unique value proposition to prospects and handle objections
  • Position solutions against contending offerings in the marketplace
  • Craft and negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contracts
  • Maintain CRM data and pipeline within Salesforce.com
  • Actively handle leads, generate pipelines and run campaigns to meet goals and objectives
  • Support the RFI/RFP process by responding to business requirements

Skills and knowledge you possess:

  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions and innovative technologies into large organisations with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas
  • Hunter mentality with previous experience selling in India
  • Knowledge of online video, livestreaming, OTT, advertising, payment, analytics, and technology companies
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger, Value Selling)
  • Proven success navigating organizations and ability to quickly identify the decision-makers and the decision-making process for SaaS investments
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and value accountability
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and internal partners
  • Highly motivated and driven by results
