Description:

The Senior Talent and Learning Specialist in Learning and Development at Marsh McLennan is responsible for creating and maintaining training programs that foster a culture of growth among colleagues. This role involves project management, independent work, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Reporting to the Global Leadership, Programs, and Curriculum Development Lead, the position is part of the Talent & Inclusion Center of Expertise within the People Strategy team, which focuses on delivering innovative, scaled solutions to meet organizational needs.

We will count on you to:

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership development, project management, and coordinating training initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage relationships, leveraging communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and business functions, to drive learning initiatives.
  • Apply a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, resulting in best-in-class Leadership Development, People Management, and Professional Development content.
  • Analyze and synthesize data around program performance and financial metrics related to training programs and vendor management.
  • Awareness of regional business strategies and how they align with global talent development initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Leadership, Learning, and Program Management with diverse delivery methods.
  • Proven ability to conduct capability gap analyses and utilize data to inform training strategies.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
