The Senior Product Manager for eBay Stores will own the roadmap for Sell-Side Management & Automation, working closely with sellers, buyer research, and internal teams. This role involves understanding seller and buyer needs, defining new features, and partnering with engineering and go-to-market teams to launch capabilities. The responsibilities include owning the product roadmap, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring the success of eBay Stores by fostering engagement between buyers and sellers.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in ecommerce.
  • BS or MS Degree in a technical field. MBA Preferred.
  • Track record of developing and launching new customer-facing features.
  • Demonstrable complex and creative problem solving to meet goals.
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people ranging across technical levels.
  • Experience owning sell-side marketplace products.

About the team and the role:

eBay Stores empower sellers to build their brand, share their story and their listings; at the same time, they allow buyers to discover trusted, relevant sellers and engage with them. This interaction between buyers and sellers fosters trust and increases engagement between sellers and buyers in our marketplace. 

What you will accomplish:

  • Own the roadmap for eBay Stores Sell-Side Management & Automation. 

  • Work closely with sellers and seller research to understand their priorities and needs.

  • Work closely with buyer research to understand eBay’s buyer experience. 

  • Work closely with eBay leadership and internal teams to understand our strategic direction and ads portfolio. 

  • Work with applied research scientists to provide store management guidance to our sellers and automation capabilities. 

  • Define new seller-facing reporting and store optimization capabilities. 

  • Partner with engineering and go-to-market teams to develop and launch these new capabilities. 

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in ecommerce. 

  • BS or MS Degree in a technical field. MBA Preferred.

  • Track record of developing and launching new customer-facing features.

  • Demonstrable complex and creative problem solving to meet goals.

  • Proven impact on delivering value to customers.

  • Ability to work well with a variety of people ranging across technical levels.

  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills, including effective communication with senior leadership. 

  • Experience owning sell-side marketplace products. 

  • Experience in the broader ecommerce and digital advertising ecosystems.
