Valeo is recruiting a Supplier Quality Engineer for its Wiper Systems Production Plant in Skawina. The role involves daily contact with suppliers, managing component complaints, ensuring production security, analyzing quality costs, participating in QRQC meetings, and collaborating with various departments. The ideal candidate will have a master's/engineer's degree, experience in automotive quality, and strong knowledge of quality tools.
Must have:
  • Daily contact with suppliers – building partnership relations and technical support.
  • Managing the component complaint process – issuing quality incidents, QR + PDCA analysis.
  • Organizing production security – developing instructions, training operators, managing non-compliant parts.
  • Collecting and analyzing costs related to supplier quality problems.
  • Active participation in daily QRQC meetings and solving quality problems.
  • Assigning quality statuses to components – supervising IS.
  • Releasing components for production in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Supervising quality deviations.
  • Close cooperation with Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Project, and R&D departments.

The Wiper Systems Production Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, production, painting, and assembly of wiper blades, arms, and mechanisms. In 2013, the production of wiper motors also began. The operations of the Wiper Systems Production Plant in Skawina are additionally supported by a modern research and development center, which currently employs approximately 100 people.

Currently, we are recruiting for the position of Supplier Quality Engineer for our Wiper Systems Production Plant in Skawina.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily contact with suppliers – building partnership relations and technical support
  • Managing the component complaint process – issuing quality incidents, QR + PDCA analysis,
  • Organizing production security – developing instructions, training operators, managing non-compliant parts
  • Collecting and analyzing costs related to supplier quality problems
  • Active participation in daily QRQC meetings and solving quality problems
  • Assigning quality statuses to components – supervising IS
  • Releasing components for production in accordance with quality requirements
  • Supervising quality deviations
  • Close cooperation with Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Project, and R&D departments

  • Master's/Engineer's higher education
  • Experience in the quality department in the automotive industry
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Very good knowledge of quality tools (PPAP, 5W2H, PDCA, 8D, FTA)
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Developed communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Creativity and dynamism in action
