Who are we hiring?
The Motion Designer is an integral part of our Production and Creative team, responsible for the execution and animation of visual content across a gamut of digital mediums. The ideal candidate is a versatile and passionate artist who possesses broad depth and knowledge based in both 2D and 3D creation and ideation.
What will you do?
- Design and Animate dynamic/high quality motion graphic packages for use on company platforms
- Work closely with our Social and Marketing Teams, Sales Department, Advertising Agencies and outside clients regarding creation of content and new requests
- Troubleshoot technical aspects of shots for various projects running simultaneously
- Research and develop best practices to improve workflow
- Create templates in After Effects (and/or Nuke) for workflow efficiencies
- Document tools and techniques for departmental reference
- Collaborate with the team to solve complex challenges and contribute to best practices and workflows from development to compositing
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
What do you need to succeed?
- 2-7 years of experience as a motion graphics artist/2D/3D animator
- Knowledge of color correction software a plus
- Exceptional attention to visual and typographical aesthetics
- Ability to lead projects from concept to deployment
- Positive attitude and proven track record in creative problem solving with an interest in new technology and processes
- Software agnosticism a plus; adaptability to new pipelines and utilization of provided tools is critical
- Expert knowledge in C4D, Maya, and Adobe Creative Suite, with adaptability to other software like Houdini, Z-Brush, Blender, Resolve/Fusion, and other 2D/3D digital content creation tools a plus
- Knowledge of rendering engines such as Redshift and others
- Experience in high-end VFX pipelines for commercials, VR, film, TV, or theme parks is a plus
