Job Overview

Appier, a leading provider of AI-powered marketing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Media Account Manager to join our team in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, advising on the adoption of Retail Media Network (RMN) solutions, and driving the ramp-up of RMN revenue and performance. This role requires strong client relationship management skills, expertise in RMNs, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail clients in Japan to understand their needs and deliver tailored RMN solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with clients to identify their marketing objectives and develop strategies to achieve these goals.

  • RMN Solution Adoption:
    • Advise clients on the best practices and strategies for adopting and optimizing RMN solutions.
    • Help clients identify needs and ensure smooth integration with RMN solutions.

  • Revenue and Performance Growth:
    • Work with clients to ramp up their RMN revenue and performance by implementing data-driven strategies and optimizing ad campaigns.
    • Utilize Appier’s AI-powered solutions to drive customer engagement, conversion, and loyalty, and to provide insights into consumer behavior and campaign effectiveness.

  • Campaign Operation Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Appier’s Campaign Management (CM) team to ensure the smooth operation of client campaigns.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to manage the launch and ongoing operations of retail media campaigns, including market research, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide regular reports to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
    • Use data insights to refine marketing strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Location: Based in Japan.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Retail Media Networks (RMNs) and account management, preferably in the retail or marketing technology sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in AdTech or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Language Skills: Business-level English proficiency is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to understand and analyze data to drive marketing decisions.
    • Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing solutions and cross-channel personalization platforms is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is plus.
