Job Description

The Account Product Strategist role focuses on optimizing Google Ads performance for large clients, ensuring strategies exceed goals and contribute to Google's product adoption. Responsibilities include building client relationships, understanding business objectives, collaborating with internal/external stakeholders, presenting Google advertising solutions, and developing data-driven recommendations to meet client marketing goals. This requires fluency in English and Spanish for communicating with local stakeholders both within and outside Google. The role demands proficiency in managing digital marketing campaigns and strong analytical and presentation skills. This position is crucial in driving business growth by aligning Google's product offerings with clients' needs and objectives.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years advertising/business experience
  • Fluent English and Spanish

  • Data-driven analysis & recommendations
  • Google Ads product knowledge
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a matrixed organization

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, online media environment, or marketing.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to contact local stakeholders from Google and outside of Google.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience in managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent investigative, presentation, and communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the strategy and performance of Google Ads products at account level excels the goals of our Large Clients, contributing to Google’s product adoption and business goals.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business tests, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time.
  • Achieve business growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-motivated analysis and recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet marketing objectives.
