Applications Engineer

The Applications Engineer position, based in Zeeco's Broken Arrow office, requires knowledge of all Zeeco products, focusing on Thermal Oxidizer division products and technical requirements. Responsibilities include individual proposal management across Zeeco disciplines to ensure complete offerings for maximum award potential. The role involves analyzing customer inquiries, designing and specifying equipment, developing process designs for optimal solutions and profit, collaborating with product technology specialists, and traveling for site support. Duties also include assisting with technical development, risk assessment, cost estimation, setting product pricing, determining and coordinating drawings for quotations, evaluating technical and commercial risks, writing and issuing quotations, following up with customers, developing sales strategies with the sales team and agents, negotiating proposals, and providing status reports. The engineer will assist with sales presentations using Microsoft Office and web systems, win orders by negotiating technical options, pricing, and terms, review project scheduling, purchase orders, and commercial terms, take responsibility for final project scope and order acceptance, and complete project turnover packages. Continuous improvement of skills and knowledge is encouraged.
