DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Follows test case instructions and performs “free testing” to test products 
  • Basic understanding of Software Testing methodologies and practices 
  • Provides work estimates and delivers medium to large tasks 
  • Works under general supervision. Exercises some independent judgment to determine approach to solutions 
  • Implements established key performance and quality indicators 
  • Implements established testing workflow and systems and provides feedback 
  • Records defects in JIRA, attaches defect numbers to failed test cases, and follows up on resolved issues 
  • Assists as necessary with updating existing test cases 
  • Contributes to completion of milestones 
  • Owns results and decisions on behalf of a deliverable 
  • Acts as a resource to newer employees 

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Intermediate PC Skills (Word, Excel, and Visual Studio) 
  • Two to four years of experience in software testing 
  • Worked on one or more game testing projects
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. 
 
This contract position has a base pay range of $16.28 - $30 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
