Our story so far. . .

A brainchild of Mohan Lakhamraju and Hari Nair, Great Learning came about in mid-2013. Starting from a 4-member team, today we are 2000 strong and growing fast. We have created a network of 2500 + Gurus (Industry Experts and Academicians) who help us deliver high-quality learning experiences across 30+ programs and 170+ countries. Over the last eight years, we have delivered more than 10 million hours of impactful learning, seen a 100x growth in learners, and a 30x growth in revenue and we are just getting warmed up!!

Keeping in mind the importance of constant skill development in an effort to stay relevant, we crafted our programs with institutions like Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford Center for Professional Development, McCombs School of Business (UT Austin), IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, Stanford GSB (Executive Education), and, Great Lakes Institute of Management..

Job Description for Data Scientist

Role

• Own the quality of end to end learning experience for our global flagship programs in the domain of analytics, data science and artificial intelligence
• Own the hands on development of all the different components of the learning experience, including but not limited to video content, hands-on/ labs material, projects and various other learning activities/interventions. This will include engaging with SMEs/faculties/industry experts.
• Be a mentor / training assistant to hundreds of global professional by providing technical support, guidance and feedback in a timely manner
• Develop and leverage analytics powered solutions to continuously monitor and identify opportunities to improve quality of the learning experience in terms of appropriateness, accuracy, richness and outcomes. This will involve solving a variety of business problems using data.
• Be an active contributor to organization building by identifying and executing on various growth as well as capability development opportunities, in terms of new products or processes.

Requirements

• 1+ years of working experience in Data Science, Analytics or Artificial Intelligence
• Have solved an end-to-end business problem or been part of a problem-solving journey
• Strongly mandatory - 1+ year experience in using SQL to query data and Python to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Experience in creating and using machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling methods
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to work through complex concepts in easy-to-understand language
• Experience with open-source DL toolkits such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face

Job Description for Senior Data Scientist

Role

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of learning experiences that empower professionals to upskill in the domains of analytics, data science and artificial intelligence. Your role will be critical in shaping the direction of our learning products/programs and driving their success in the market.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle for learning products/learning programs/experiences, from conceptualization to launch, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including faculty, operations, SMEs, industry experts and business leaders, to develop market leading learning programs / experiences
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify market trends, user needs, and opportunities for product/program enhancement.
• Work closely with data science and AI teams to integrate intelligent technologies into learning products, enabling personalized and adaptive learning experiences.
• Develop and leverage analytics powered solutions to continuously monitor and identify opportunities to improve quality of the learning experience in terms of appropriateness, accuracy, richness and outcomes. This will involve solving a variety of business problems using data.
• Help improve and evolve business intelligence layer – a reporting suite – for marketing, sales and operation functions to enable automated delivery of insights to aid decision making on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Help develop advanced analytics systems using driver and/or predictive models to identify factors that influence business outcomes like marketing conversions, learners success, workforce productivity etc. and help design and automate interventions to accelerate growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (STEM)
• Mandatory - 3+ years of industry experience in delivering DS/AI driven solutions for business problems
• Strong understanding of data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, and their application in solving real-world problems.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.●Passion for education, technology, and making a positive impact in the ed tech industry.
