Job Description & Summary

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Maturity Assessment & Strategy:

• Lead and execute comprehensive DevOps maturity assessments for clients to identify current state, gaps, and areas for improvement.

• Develop and drive tailored DevOps transformation roadmaps, emphasizing continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), continuous testing (CT), and configuration management (CM).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on DevOps goals and practices.

DevOps Adoption & Leadership:

• Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud environments, ensuring scalability, automation, and high performance.

• Lead efforts to improve continuous monitoring and observability frameworks, ensuring robust monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications.

• Promote and drive best practices around automation, testing, monitoring, and security in DevOps pipelines.

Cloud Architecture & Strategy:

• Architect and design cloud-native and multi-cloud solutions with a strong focus on automation and security.

• Ensure all cloud solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, especially in highly regulated sectors such as financial services.

• Collaborate with security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is embedded in the DevOps processes.

• Provide technical leadership in adopting multi-cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools, ensuring the right solutions are implemented for specific use cases.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on cloud and DevOps-related topics, presenting recommendations, roadmaps, and solutions.

• Work closely with other architects, developers, and engineers to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.

• Collaborate with QA, development, and operational teams to streamline release processes, improve code quality, and enhance system performance.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and automation frameworks, and ensure their adoption in relevant areas.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance team productivity.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture and DevOps, with hands-on experience across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Proven track record in conducting DevOps maturity assessments and implementing DevOps transformations (CI/CD/CT/CM).

  • Extensive experience in testing, monitoring, and automation within a DevOps environment.

  • Experience in the FinTech or banking sector, either as a DevOps Lead or ex-consultant.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Strong understanding of cloud security practices and DevSecOps.

  • Experience in implementing robust monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
