Summary

This GL Accountant / Assistant Accountant position is based in Guangzhou, China and involves bookkeeping GL entries in the BCC system, maintaining management and local books, preparing financial reports, intercompany reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, B/S item schedules, assisting in audits, coordinating monthly closing, reviewing junior accountant's work, providing internal training, and handling ad-hoc projects. The role requires strong accounting skills, proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and formulas), and excellent English communication. Experience in multinational or advertising companies is preferred. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, patient, able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Description

Job Description 
-Bookkeeping of GL entries in BCC system.
-Maintain management book and local books.
-Prepare management reporting package and local financial reports.
-Monthly intercompany reconciliation 
-Three way payroll reconciliation
-Prepare B/S item schedules.
-Assist in internal & external audit.
-Coordinate monthly closing with agency and relevant teams.
-Review Junior accountant’ routine job and give guidance i.e. entry booking; filling
-Internal training
-Adhoc projects 

Qualifications

-University degree or equivalent in accounting, and possessing of Medium Accounting Proficiency Certificate or above. 
-1-3 years of relevant work experience;
-Experience in multinational Co. or Advertising Co. is preferred.
-Sensitive to accounting data, careful, and patient.
-Familiar with Excel, Good at the excel tool of Pivot table and formula setting is preferred
-Good command of English in speaking, writing and reading.
-Good motivation under work pressure and teamwork spirit.
-Ability to work independently
-Ability of problem solving and reviewing
