Job Description

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting all employee support activities and ensuring the smooth running of operational HR issues at the local site. This includes managing the employee lifecycle from entry to exit, providing advice on local guidelines and labor law, maintaining personnel data in HR systems, creating reports, and collaborating with the works council. Additional responsibilities include supporting HR processes, participating in the development of local HR guidelines, and initiating HR projects. The job also includes conducting job interviews and ensuring the onboarding and offboarding processes.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent qualification
  • At least three years of HR generalist experience
  • Fluent German and advanced English skills
  • Knowledge of HR management systems like Workday and ATOSS

The ANNAX Group has been part of the Wabtec Corporation Group since 2018 and has 3 locations in Germany, Switzerland and China with over 360 employees. Our system solutions in the rail industry include ANNAX passenger information with many already integrated subsystems, such as seat reservation, passenger counting, video surveillance, information for the blind and deaf, infotainment/entertainment systems and others.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a HR Generalist (m/f/d) at the Munich-Brunnthal site.

What you can expect:

The HR Generalist covers the overall employee support activities and ensures the smooth running of all operational HR issues at the local site.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the individual steps of the employee-life-cycle from entry’s to exits and being the first point of contact for all HR-related administrative issues for an defined employee group: such as employment law and the preparation of employment contracts, change agreements and references letters and the preparation of the payroll
  • Providing competent advice to employees and managers on local guidelines, process-related issues and labor law topics ·
  • Maintaining the personnel data in the HR system Workday and timetracking system ATOSS · Creating reports and overviews as part of HR controlling ·
  • Trustful and cooperative collaboration with the local works council ·
  • Supporting the HR Manager in the conception and implementation of new and HR processes and participating in the development, optimization and implementation of local HR guidelines
  • Initiation and support of targeted personnel development measures
  • Planning and implementation of independent HR projects
  • Execution of Job Interviews, Ensure the Onboarding & Offboarding Process, Organization and Participation of Job Fairs

What you bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in HR or comparable qualification like apprenticeship with further training as HR specialist, additional specialized training is helpful and desirable
  • At least three years of professional experience as an HR generalist is essential ·
  • Professional knowledge of labor law, in particular reference to collective agreements and ability to work cooperative with works council
  • Fluent German, and advanced English language skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate within matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of standard HR management systems such as Workday, ATOSS, etc. as well as with Microsoft Office Tool
