Job Details
Tesla is looking for a creative and adaptable Instructional Designer to join our EMEA Learning & Development team. This role is crucial for developing innovative and engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of EMEA Tesla employees for either Sales & Delivery or Service. The Instructional Designer will create a variety of educational materials, including e-learnings, instructor-led training, knowledge articles, and video content, to enhance the skills and knowledge of our customer-facing staff.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Instructional Design, or a related field and have a knack for simplifying complex information. . In this position, you'll collaborate with EMEA stakeholders to understand business priorities, craft targeted learning solutions, and ensure the effective delivery of learning programs that align with Tesla's dynamic environment and high standards.
This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills, along with a passion for helping others grow and succeed.
- Course development: Design, develop and refine courses and programs, including online, video, instructor-led and self-paced training programs that meet the learning objectives for all field Sales or Service roles across EMEA, ensuring alignment with Tesla's brand standard
- Project management: Manage Instructional Design projects from conception through to completion, adapting to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure training programs meet business needs
- Learning Programs: Organize multiple course modules, lessons, and materials into clear and cohesive curricula, including. Develop task-based assessments that align with learning objectives
- Content strategy: Identify and build content delivery strategies that provide the best learning experience.
- Innovation: Collaborate with Global and EMEA teams to foster innovative approaches and improve curriculum development
- Evaluation: Establish and measure training metrics to assess program success
- Bachelor’s degree and or proven experience Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design or related field (UX, Education, Psychology)
- Proven experience with e-Learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) and strong understanding of adult learning theories and Instructional Design models
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel . Experience with Adobe Creative Suite development software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a plus
- Experience scripting, filming, editing and integrating multimedia for video learning production is a plus
- Experience maintaining or updating course material within a learning management system is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially with problem solving and relationship building . Project management, self-management and multi-tasking skills
- Travel may be required as needed to support the role, including visits to Stores and Service centers, training hubs and body repair centers
