This internship at Nintendo Technology Development in Redmond, WA, offers a summer 2025 opportunity for rising seniors pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Science Engineering. Interns will research, prototype, and evaluate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or 5G technologies. Responsibilities involve hands-on work with wireless communication technologies and leveraging C and C++ programming skills within a Linux environment. Familiarity with wireless communication standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G, LoRa) is a plus. The position is a contract role with an hourly rate of $40.00 and includes benefits like medical insurance, an employee assistance program, and paid sick leave (subject to eligibility).
Must have:
  • Research, prototype, and evaluate wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G)
  • C and C++ programming experience with Linux exposure

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

We are seeking software engineers available during the summer of 2025 to join the team.  You will be responsible for researching, prototyping and evaluating Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or 5G technologies.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Rising senior pursuing BS or MS ideally in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering
  • Background or interest in wireless communications
  • Good C and C++ programming experience with some Linux exposure
  • Knowledge of wireless communications standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G, LoRa) is a plus
  • Good writing and communication skills  

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. 
 
This contract position has a base pay of $40.00 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
