Job Description

The IT HelpDesk Specialist will provide prompt and reliable user support, troubleshoot issues, set up and maintain workstations, manage accounts and equipment, and ensure smooth IT operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting support requests, providing user support, setting up workplaces for new employees, managing accounts, installing software, supporting remote users, managing equipment inventory, and writing software/service manuals. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, strong PC skills (Windows, *nix), knowledge of ITIL standards, excellent communication skills, and upper-intermediate Russian proficiency. English proficiency sufficient to read technical documents is required.

G5 Games is a Swedish developer and publisher of mobile games played by over 250 million people worldwide. We create large-scale projects, such as SherlockHidden City®Jewels of Rome®, and continuously improve their technical aspects.

We are currently strengthening our team and looking for an IT HelpDesk Specialist in the cities of Wroclaw or Warsaw who will provide prompt and reliable user support, set up and maintain workstations, manage accounts and equipment, and help ensure smooth IT operations across the company. If you are interested in troubleshooting, helping people, and keeping systems running smoothly — we’d love to have you on our team!

What You Will Work On:

  • Prompt troubleshooting upon receipt of support requests (research and problem-solving).
  • Provide reliable user support with a high level of user satisfaction and technical expertise.
  • Feedback from team and managers actioned.
  • Encourages the use of best practice across the team, including documenting and sharing with others.
  • Set up workplaces for new employees.
  • Register, maintain and block accounts in the company's services.
  • Install and set up the necessary software.
  • Work remote users.
  • Keep track of all equipment, conduct regular inventory checks, and handle equipment receipts and shipments.
  • Write manuals for software and/or services for company employees.

What We Expect:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a similar position.
  • Higher education.
  • Admin-level PC skills (Windows, *nix).
  • Proactivity and independence in daily work, quick response to requests.
  • User-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of ITIL standards & practices.
  • English proficiency: enough to read technical documents.
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal).
  • Upper-Intermediate Russian proficiency.
